GETSEMANI, the other face of Cartagena
Getsemani is a neighborhood of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, located just in front of the fortified historic center. Getsemani is a neighborhood with its own history, historically (sixteenth and seventeenth century) in opposition to the flamboyant fortified Cartagena. Rebel, the getsemani neighborhood then developed its own identity. Historically neglected, today the district of Getsemani has regained all its letters of nobility and is the most trendy and cultural district of Cartagena.
