SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA town
San Pedro de Atacama is an oasis. A small charming village that serves as the main door to the driest desert on our planet. We invite you to walk through is streets, where everything looks brown because of their constructions in adobe (mud brick). It is considered the archaeological capital of Chile. The deserts that surround it, as well as its salt flats and the native peoples that today are preserved intact, have made it one of the preferred destinations for tourism in recent years. Join us and discover is historic church, the Municipality and the main square. We will share too with is inhabitants, as Fernando Alfaro national prize of traditional culture because of his work in pottery.
